Coffee Shop friends John Mitchell and Dave Fleming are old pals and no strangers to the watering holes and better pub venues of the Highlands, but are yet to do a listening room concert together. What better place than The Coffee Shop for two of our most under-valued musical resources to showcase their talent and their songs.
John now lives in Sweden with his musical partner Sofie Jonson, they recently released their first album Western Highways to mass critical acclaim and airplay across Europe, they appeared at the Coffee Shop to a full house in May. We're sorry to say Sofie won't be here. Hhowever we are delighted to welcome John back, and look forward to what he and Dave have in mind for us for this unique exclusive show for the Coffee Shop
Dave Fleming is former front man of Rhythm and Reel but has also played with and supported the likes of Eleanor McEvoy,Barbara Dickson, Tom Morton, andRod Clements (Lindisfarne). He has also recorded and played with Martin Stephenson.
