Richmond Hotel Strathpeffer
Richmond Hotel

A charming Victorian house built in 1885 The Richmond Hotel retains many original features, whilst providing comfortable modern en-suite accommodation. Guests of The Richmond enjoy a warm welcome, a hearty breakfast and can enjoy the benefits of a licensed hotel for evening meals.

All of our 8 rooms are individually and thoughtfully themed blending the best of the Victorian era with modern day comforts. Our two superior deluxe and two superior rooms enjoy fantastic views across Strathpeffer village square, open countryside and woodlands. They are the largest rooms and are highly recommended, all have places to relax in comfort.

Our restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents, ideal if you are staying in the village of Strathpeffer. The dining room is set in the grand front room of the building. The wood panelled bay window and traditional d├ęcor add to the dining experience.

You can also dine informally in the lounge bar which has fine views from the large original south facing sash windows. The lounge bar benefits from a real log fire adding to the cosy feel. It is open to the public on Fridays from 5pm to 9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 6pm to 9pm.

The Richmond provides an elegant and charming setting for corporate events such as conferences/meetings, Team Building Challenges and Company away days.

Sarina and Phil are both complimentary therapists and can offer a wide range of therapies. Therapies offered include Sonic Chakra Alignment, the Alexander Technique, Shiatsu Massager and Journey Therapy. Life coaching, stress detoxing and counselling are also available.

We have links to other therapists who hire our therapy room for those therapies which we don't do.

At Crystal House Retreat @ The Richmond Hotel we run a number of retreats throughout the year. We keep a neutral spiritual focus and do not teach any set religious or spiritual practice
